Dear Callahan Family, our hearts go out to you. Mrs. Callahan as I respectfully called her, was a sweet woman who always had a place in our hearts. She will truly be missed as I considered her the Matriarch of the Neighborhood. She always had a smile & polite chat for us and our grand-daughter, Abryanna, who loved her dearly.

Sad to hear of my Aunt Marie's passing. She was always a delight at family gatherings. Like my mother, she often had a quiet demeanor, but at exactly the right moment she would speak up and say something genuinely wise (and often bitingly funny). I always admired her for that. I'll miss her.

I have know Aunt Marie my whole life. As my Godmother she always kept in contact through cards on birthdays and holidays even though I fled New Jersey for warmer weather in Florida over 35 years ago. I hope to someday be able to match the warmth, kindness, and cheer that she bestowed up all in her family. She will be missed but never forgotten.
